Hi, I love these plants and have 2 in different size pots on my patio. One, last year grew quite large so in Sept I transferred it to my newely planted long bed, ensuring as the garden centre advised, not dug in too deep!! The other was growing nicely, still in its pot, but unfortunately even though it looks healthy,every leaf has a black ring like a spot but with a green spot in the centre of the black one. This has affected every leaf and I don't know what it is ?? Do you think I can treat it or will it have to be destroyed ?? I wanted to grow on from a smaller plant which is cheaper to transfer to ground as I have such a large area to plant up. Luckily I have great neighbours who have donated lots of plants from their own gardens Wink

Hi, sounds like Rhododendron Leaf Spot to me. Treatment for it is to remove the worst affected leaves and any fallen ones, general tidy up and bin/burn the leaves rather than composting them. Spray with a fungicide containing Mancozeb and feed and mulch the plant to improve it's vigour. If it is dry Rolling Eyes

give it some water as needed.

Many thanks Tim I will certainly do that and hope it survives as its a beautiful colour and it would be a shame if I lost it, cheers Wink
