Dont worry MM, I'll send you some of mine!! Actually, I'm hoping that as I have roughly an equal split between singles, twins and triplets, that they will lamb about the same time and I can chuck a spare triplet on to a single...... we'll see Rolling Eyes Its never worked out like that before though Mad

Yeah, thats what I thought last year and ended up with 12 extra to lamb Shocked Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

I have managed to "adopt" a triplet onto a ewe before who had a single, she lambed same time as one had trips. The trip ewe spat them out almost together and so when the single lambed, I just chucked the first one to hand over to her and she took it without a murmur. Never happened again Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Blimmin things are wise to me now and lamb days apart from anyone who I may be able to pressgang into taking a spare Rolling Eyes
Happy days indeed, no I'm not loking forwards to lambing this year. Thank heavens I've only got 30 this time round........ Last year it was 65 Shocked Shocked

I'v not had lambs this year, with the move and getting the farm sorted, sorting OH mum and dad living with us in the cottage and just everything I am just to tied, I don't think I will even have any chicks this year well not as I feel at the moment, anyway I only have 2 ewes old enough this year will be 4 next year and 8 the year after, I have not done anything to the farm house not had the time (but have fully decorated the cottage and had a extension built for the outlaws, got to look after the crinklies )good luck to you all with lambing (I am a bit jealous, but got to be sensible for once in my life)

Jealous?? Shocked How you fixed mid Feb and then 17 days later?? I'll swop with you! I know exactly how you are feeling re moving, I should have been in 4 months ago........now its just going to be a huge rush to get all equipment over to Wales before the ewes start lambing. Try bedding a shed down without a tractor to move heston bales and feeding silage.......... Sad Oh well, suppose it will all work out in the end Very Happy

bb you need a fergi ,have you seen nonies sign off she's getting some real stick over that one Twisted Evil ,we cannot get a tractor up our land rock and peat ,bedding down isn't the problem ,mucking and spreading is .
moving silage is a messy job all hands to the pump ,knew i had children for a reason Laughing ,the bales have to be rolled up the slope :?across the front garden and though the fence isn't it funny how farmers and crofts always put their gates in the muddest part of the feild Rolling Eyes Wink

I'm really looking forward to it the late nights and early morning hehe, I bet I could a tractor on if I really tried milkmaid but I don't think dad would like it. Jim says hi by the way.
We could always brought the bosses Masse Fergi but I'm thinking he wouldn't like it so we might be in trouble
