I went outside just now to see my blue pekin cockerel Dash with the back of his comb very slighty purple in colour, its definately darker than it should be though. I dunno what to do! Is thsi heart diesase? I dont want him to die. Or is it somethni8g to do with the heat? Plrease Help!

Being as how the darker spot is the same texture as the rest of the comb and not a black but a purple black, it is more of a sign of heart disease. Being as though it is only a spot and not the whole comb...you caught it earlier enough to try and reverse the damage.
Search for health foods, preferably organic. ONLY healthy treats. Maintain his weight. Try different things to keep him cool during the heat of the day to limit his stress and you should have lots of good times yet to come with him. |

Well just checked him now after 20 mins of seein it and it has gone. He fine in himself and people have said it could be heat, treating it as a ehaert thnig so making sure he has ltos of water and dont over heat agan
