Sorry - forgot to say that I have used Jeyes for routine cleaning in the past, but with AI so close I'm not going to risk it at the mo. I do find the stink from Jeyes persists for a long time though and I do wonder if it does the chooks any good?

I usually use Jeyes once a month - diluted as recommended on the tin. I leave it to soak for an hour before hosing the houses down. The house then gets the rest of the day to dry before fresh bedding goes in (wood shavings on floor, straw in boxes). It doesn't seem to smell too much by the time they go back in at night.
