Hi new to the site and new to keeping chickens in our urban garden.
Signed the petition, and added a comment too.
I have 3 children and a Jack Russell all are intrigued by the 2 new girls.
As are our neighbours, and we only got the chooks yesterday!
The children have been, watching and asking loads of questions about the hens which can only be a good thing. As has been said above TOO many children are not aware their food used to be live, let alone how it is reared!
IT IS SO RELAXING WATCHING THEM POTTER ABOUT ISN'T IT?! |

That's what I have a wife for
Already got plans for an extension! A mate of mine is a carpenter, he is fascinated, and said he is willing to adapt the current accommodation in exchange for some eggs. |
