yep i know what you mean i have a spare pen and april is staying ,she doesn't have a home and i just cannot send her to town , Wink
somebodies going to have to share ,she has to have a pen when she kids ,she will not put up with other goats near her kids for several days ,and other goats can kill kids if they try to suckle from the wrong goat ,they don't mean to it's a whip round and a what the hell do you think you are doing ,and if she tries to tell off the herd leader she'll be in trouble ,in the wild she would go off on her own away from the herd ,make herself a nest give birth and hang around there for a couple of days before running with the herd again but with lots of room ,
good luck Very Happy

A Swedish friend who keeps the same goats says I'll be a parent by 4pm.

Nothing to report, except we have nest building in the clean straw and she had a couple of chopped windfall apples. I have decided the young geese can share with the ducks and either snövit gets their old stall or the other goats do. We'll see how it goes.

This waiting is killing me.

I *think* she maybe immanent, but she is uncomfortable with me watching. I moved her earlier to a stall on her own and she seems reasonably happy, just very restless and on edge, so I have reluctantly withdrawn for a while to the house. Hopefully it will all be over soon
