Its hatched, with my help, the membrane was stuck to the chick, where the shell was missing, it was more than ready to emerge into the world
I have left it in the incubator, then will return it to the broody in the morning.
One broody has 6 out of 8 hatched (1 lemon and 1 mixed pekin to go), other broody has 4 out of 8 hatched, there are more pipping. Will post piccies of them both tomorrow, hopefully |

Summayah - I have little Dutch bantams and pekins hatched - still waiting for the lemon pekin + mixed pekin, think the other broody has one Dutch to hatch! Going to move the broody Welsummer this morning before she gets up and leaves the nest (she is sitting on a bale of straw in my aviary where I keep the feed).
Try to take piccies aswell  :D |
