Back to top pollypekin Joined: 14 Apr 2005 Posts: 183 Location: Kent Posted: Wed Jun 15, 2005 10:43 pm    Post subject: Its hatched, with my help, the membrane was stuck to the chick, where the shell was missing, it was more than ready to emerge into the world I have left it in the incubator, then will return it to the broody in the morning. One broody has 6 out of 8 hatched (1 lemon and 1 mixed pekin to go), other broody has 4 out of 8 hatched, there are more pipping. Going to move the broody Welsummer this morning before she gets up and leaves the nest (she is sitting on a bale of straw in my aviary where I keep the feed).
